Concept of Lab Divisions
The concept of Lab Divisions is part of our attempt to improve quality in biomedical research. The Lab Divisons can be considered as internal core facilities. Every Lab Division is managed by an specialist in the particular field. This lab manager keeps the technical, infrastructure up-to-date, offers methods training to new users, offers support for research groups in planning and conducting experiments and is available for Troubleshooting.
The Experimental Neurology consists of different scientific workgroups covering a broad range of neurological topics. In order to support this scientific work, the department is divided into different Lab Divisions. Each Lab Division is managed by an specialist in the particular field and offers support reaching from the design of a certain experiment, to support for the data analysis and troubleshooting. The Lab Divisions can therefor be considered as one very practical part of the quality management.
